Victoria Day Parade

The 104th annual Victoria Day Parade saw crowds of people lining the downtown streets of Victoria enjoying the hot weather, creative displays, and live music. The JACK FM Community Cruiser lead the way for the Sprint Car #55 float behind the Victoria Police bag-pipe band. #55 driver Jeff Bird had crew members Ken, Jeremy, and Joanne, as well as Joanne's sister Laura and nephew Solomon, giving out Jack FM bumper stickers and #55 trader cards to the fans. Junior Crew member Kendra Bird sat behind the Sprint Car wheel, and "Island Sprint Fan" Greg drove his remote control #55 Sprint Car alongside the float to entertain the crowd.

With weekly newspaper attention, spots on Jack FM radio (Victoria BC station) as well as live TV coverage on Check TV, Sprint Car #55 is really causing a stir! Gordie T. from Check TV proclaimed he would love a chance to drive a Sprint, so Jeff made him an offer he won't be able to refuse!
