#55 driver/car owner Jeff Bird will take you out to the racetrack (Victoria BC), give you one-on-one in-depth instruction on the mechanics of Sprint cars, driving techniques, safety, and track rules... and then give you the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb into the car and feel the power.

Fully maintained and race-ready Sprint car (#55), fire resistant 4-layer racing suit, fire resistant racing helmet, fire resistant racing boots, and all required safety gear supplied.

$2500 Cdn. includes track rental, racing fuel, transportation costs to tow the car/trailer/setup to the track, use of all safety gear & equipment, maintenance costs after racing, lots of track time in the car, videography & professional photos of your racing experience, and the best part: individual instruction from a knowledgeable, safety-conscious, "kickass-competitive", experienced driver.

Credentials:
Jeff has been racing open wheel cars for many years, starting with karting in 1992. In his 2nd year of karting, Jeff won the local championship, and in 1994 won the IKF Regional Championship (against kart racers from WA, OR, ID, BC & AB).

In 1995 Jeff got the opportunity to drive a USAC Midget in the WMRA, and won Rookie of the Year! In 1998, Jeff drove a pavement Sprint car for the first time, and won the Trophy Dash at Western Speedway. On that same night, 24 Sprint cars were entered, and Jeff finished 3rd in the Main Event.

In 2001 Jeff purchased his own Sprint car, and in 2002 won the Malahat Auto Parts Season Championship. In 2003 Jeff raced his Sprint car in selected races while driving a Midget for the WMRA, and consistently ran up front.

In the 2004 season, Jeff proved that driving skill is just as important as having a great car... with his limited WilRoc motor, Jeff won the Strawberry Cup against the high-powered engines of the NSRA. He also won numerous Trophy Dashes and Heat Races, and never lets up - pushing himself above and beyond his previous performances. In 2005 he was 2nd in the NSRA Strawberry Cup, 2nd in the Daffodil Cup, and won several heat races. Jeff was an executive member on the NSRA Board and had a great 2006 season, several top placings in limited racing in 2007, and looks forward to another year of exciting racing in 2008.
